For that complaint, you get the whole family tree. Puns are genetic:
Shawn, the ram came first, already named She-Bah and Ewe-Nice arrived as gifts, a few months later Year 2 Salt and Pepper, twin lambs came next spring (black ewe, white ram) Jetta, black ewe lamb, came a month later Year 3 Ewe-Dora was Jetta's first lamb Ram-Bo was Pepper's first lamb Year 4 Dodge Ram was Jetta's next lamb Pepper had twin ewe lambs, but we gave her away with the lambs unnamed Year 5 BahBah Louie was Jetta's third lamb Year 6 Ewe-Genia is Jetta's fourth lamb
(She-Bah has never had any more offspring. Ewe-Nice died in her second summer, we believe from eating poison ivy. Ewe-Dora died accidentally when she caught herself in a fence and strangled. Perhaps naming sheep with Ewe- names is bad luck. We shall see.)
I enjoyed the lambs and always would up with both in my lap (food rewards and gentlecalmness works wonders with afraid animals in my experience... oh yea, infinite patience and an open eye.
Loved the popcorn young stage where they leapt and bounced and even walked on their front legs on occassion. Everybody loves baby animals. I liked them both and enjoy seeing differences in animal personalities be it dogs and cats or horses or wild critters.
There is always one doe who is the bold leader and will almost come to you only she has other does to care for so does not only for that reason. We come close to animals at times and it amazes, thrills and teaches us how to be good.
