Ah... the solid/liquid/gas thing.

It started as a private joke about the four classical elements, which are used by every quiz-type meme under the sun: I suggested in a worldbuildery-writery sort of way that there should be a culture that uses states of matter for all its "what does your favourite colour say about your personality type?!" requirements. ;) They don't know about plasmas, being pre cathode tube, but they do consider 'wet sand' a separate state.

Yep. I suspect that one was made just for me.

You must have missed all the longstanding discussion about "paffers". A character I play often is Tivo the plush toy horse. He has plush hooves (see icon) and obviously, they don't clip-clop in the traditional manner. Instead they go paff-paff or paff-padaff. As a result of that, locandez started referring to my feet as "paffers" and it stuck.

Oh, I dunno. I can easily picture you as a sort of sheepdog kinda guy. Or a bearded collie type. Very smart, very independent, but shaggy enough that a ribbon or two could be useful.
