No grass for Tess today either.

I did get the spinning guild newsletter done, though. No matter how large or small, editing a publication with regular deadlines is an eye opener. People just can't seem to get things to you on time, no matter how much you beg, plead, or threaten.

Must be bed time, I'm all washed up. ;p

From my experience with newsletters, you need to just be happy you get anything submitted at all. Guess people expect those things to just magically write themselves.

Oddly enough, some female members of the JRR Tolkien fandom back when I was an undergrad did decide to characterize me as a carrot. No, I never knew just why. Suffice it to say that if I were a carrot, hanging around with horses as I do would probably be a suicide wish. No, I don't have that particular syndrome.
