Got some weaving done, did barn chores, went down to Elgin to see a visiting friend who retired and moved to Colorado several years back.

The highlight of the day? No rain. None. Sunlight all day, but not hot or humid. We need this for about three weeks now to get things dried out and back to normal. There's still high water everywhere.

Hmm. There was just a news item about a hot air balloon crashing somewhere in Canada I think it was. It caught fire on takeoff...
