MFF was the best yet from my point of view. I did attend a single pawful of panels, most of which were well worth the time, but I spent most of my hours socializing instead of being so busy. This was good because I returned home this afternoon chock full of hugs and murr. I suppose I might actually get PCD, which won't be so nice, but maybe I can avoid it simply by having too much other stuff to do this week to take time for it.

Shout outs go to the following in no particular order, for making my weekend extra special (If I've left you out, I apologize. Nudge me and I'll fix it.):

[livejournal.com profile] goldenstallion [livejournal.com profile] zachary_geminus [livejournal.com profile] lobowolf [livejournal.com profile] damnbear [livejournal.com profile] loriana [livejournal.com profile] aerofox [livejournal.com profile] deffox [livejournal.com profile] dakhun [livejournal.com profile] quickcasey [livejournal.com profile] tinbender [livejournal.com profile] rrwolf [livejournal.com profile] kaysho [livejournal.com profile] tosdragon [livejournal.com profile] brokkentwolf [livejournal.com profile] trailhorse [livejournal.com profile] innerwolf [livejournal.com profile] linnaeus [livejournal.com profile] hartree [livejournal.com profile] takaza [livejournal.com profile] duncandahusky [livejournal.com profile] tango [livejournal.com profile] cbrenton [livejournal.com profile] vakkotaur [livejournal.com profile] jmaynard [livejournal.com profile] dlorn [livejournal.com profile] shadowtxhorse [livejournal.com profile] mistletoe and many more...

Most awesome, inspiring fursuit awards go to [livejournal.com profile] loriana for her gorgeous cross-fox and her very attractive playing of the part, and to [livejournal.com profile] stitchwolf for his glorious Roman soldier lion who was so attractive I had to sit on my hooves to keep from reaching under his red cloak to tweak him. :D It was also delightful to see [livejournal.com profile] goldenstallion fursuiting at last as the overly awesome Steed (and really liking it, I must add) as well as to see [livejournal.com profile] kaysho and [livejournal.com profile] deffox in the fur, as it were. (Both are so cute I just want to cuddle them.)

Other than food, and room, I did very well financially, restraining myself to the purchase of one book (a compilation of the first four issues of the Circles comic that several of you recommended to me recently,) one print (Heather Bruton's irresistible Draped Collie,) one bear-themed t-shirt and one tiny plush sheep with butterfly wings (as gifts for Gary.) He declared the sheep's name to be, obviously, "Baaah-tah-fly."

As for the NaNo-Novel, I'm only a bit behind quota, should be just over 30,000 by midnight, but I think I did well considering all the distractions at the con. Here is your chance to find out just where Argos' bracelet came from, and why it means so very much to him (and to Fennec if he will only admit it openly.) Next segment is more than half done, but not yet complete so not posted.

New chapter is here.

Glad things went well... still very sad I could not make it, but it's best to not harbor resentment, or I'll never get my work caught up. Take care!

We missed you, of course. It wasn't the same without you there.

Was good to see you there, Tivo! We didn't get much chance to talk. I'm usually rushing around hither and thither with A/V work and such. I hope to get a chance to chatter with you for a bit longer sometime.

Yes indeed. I was much aware of you folks spending all your con time making things work for the rest of us. I'm very familiar with the old "Hug a musician, they never get to dance" line, and this is just a new manifestation of the same principle.

*clops hoofies together in appreciation*

We'll manage to chat yet, I'm sure.

Yay, more equines! We made a good showing at this con compared to the other two I've attended. I heard a few more might debut at FC.
And Goldenstallion's Steed is exquisite!

Yeah, more horsies than I've ever seen before. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat with you more, but I'm sure glad you were able to be there. :)

PCD? A horse filled with hugs and murrs? The mind boggles

I remember seeing a short video of Aero and Lorianna :) Very cute and Lorianna makes very realistic yips I thought.

PCD = post con depression, a letdown situation

Aero and Loriana are two of the nicest people I know in furry, and both very talented too.

I abosulutely can not fursuit. Nothing kills the fun more than some
guy on the floor in a costume with EMT's tromping in to some panel.

Your right about the money thing though. The hardest part of a con
is not buying stuff at the vendor stalls. @.@

If fursuiting would bring on the EMTs for you, then you need a better fursuit. ;p

Its the New Claustraphobia. It started in my
mid 30s. I used to feel safe in a rollercoaster
seat but now when that clickclickclick happens
and that big bar comes down it makes me insane
and scream to be let off the ride.

A fursuit? Drag me over carpet tacks and dip
me in rubbing alcohol first.

I don't mind YOU wearing the suit, its even
fun and cute. Just not me. @.@

Go figure.

Oddly enough, I am pretty claustrophobic myself. The first couple of times I tried suiting, it was a minor issue. Then I got contact lenses so I could see better and it's gone (except for being stuck in elevators...gah!)

*gets stuck in an elevator with Altivo. For the
first half hour he's okay, though he paces, as
he can. Eventually he pulls out a stun gun and
stuns himself with it. He's okay then*

At least you didn't press the red button. You know, the one below the "ALARM" button. It says "TASER" on it...

That'd stun everyone.

*pulls out a con badge*

That works too.

Very good to see you as well. :) Sorry about the translocation to California. For some reason I thought you were local. :)

LOL. There was a time when I'd have been delighted to be translocated to California. But in the days of the "Governator" I'm just as glad to be where I am. ;p

I really admire your fursuit work, and I'm glad I got to at least say hi at last.

You're catching up. Instead of 2 weeks behind, you're only 9 days back. ;p

Yes, I'm glad we got to chat a bit. *warm hugs* You may not need the warmth where you are, but it's definitely getting brisk here.
