Sounds right to me. :)

You obviously have quite a flair for the garden.

Works for me.

*gets you the gps tracker, the dogs, the shotgun
and the modified AR-15 with...*

What? *looks offstage* Oh! Oh, a rpg ranger...

*facepaws*

*gets you "Voice Of Beast Talk" magic, a bow of
+3 to hit and "Walks Soft" forest magic.

Sorry!

Well, at least you caught your mistake. Absolutely NO firearms.

Okay, I'll take it.

Usually, in rpg Sword and Sorcery games, if I have my druthers, I play
a kind of Conan character that uses magic as a tool, not as a way of
life. *shrugs*

In real life I use magic whenever I can.

You've never been a dark place, alone, trying to protect yourself.

But I'll cut you slack.

Oh yes I have been there. More than once. And avoided ending up in the emergency room, though a friend didn't escape one time.

And in a tight spot, be it rpg or RL, wouldn't you
want someone with a sword thats on your side?

You want the honest answer? Um, no?

You see, I believe that the sword in that guy's hand, even if he's on my side, predisposes him to act in ways that I find inappropriate. The sword, or the rifle does not solve problems, it only exacerbates them.

Think of me as a Vulcan, if you will. Or in terms of European history, perhaps an Albigensian or a Celtic monk. In Asia, a Buddhist monk certainly. It may seem irrational to you, but it is my essential nature and not something mutable.

This is a bit surprising but it is what I got. Granted I did answer the question about the bow in the sense you shouldn't be near me if I fired one.

I could honestly say I used to hit the target, if not the bullseye, most of the time. But it's been years since I actually tried.

I wish I was more surprised, but it has become more and more clear to me how accurate today's result was: I am a Bard!

Good at everything, expert at nothing (except perhaps schmoozing ;)

Schmoozing sure, that's a bardic talent. But so are singing and writing, history keeping and teaching. All good things for someone to know, and things I think you're good at.

Heh... thank you kindly. I have momentarily suppressed my desire to make a more strongly self-deprecating response :)

I don't think I'm very good at history keeping, though; it's just not my forte. The others I can make a passable stab at on occasion.

I need to write and sing more... I've just been so busy lately that what little free time I end up with tends to be spent on less energy-eating activities. That's a bad trend that I should watch carefully, now that I think on it. Time to exercise the ol' willpower a bit!

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

I got Paladin but I think that's a bit of wishful thinking ;)

Ranger is very appropriate for you :)
