Wednesday

There's not much to be said in its favor, alas, other than that it's almost over. But tomorrow morning I have to go to the dentist (just a check up and cleaning but it's a nuisance) so I feel like Wednesday lasts extra long this week.

Still lots of ice here, but it didn't do the huge amount of damage that we were told to expect. The sun was out this afternoon and everything was all sparkly and glittery. It was sort of pretty, actually. Except for the ice dams on the library roof that are making for leaks in one place...

It was a very slow evening, actually, which is fine with me. Now I need to go to sleep so I can get up early. ;p

I'm terrible about cameras. I hate carrying them around and I forget to use them when I do carry them.

My failure to remember to turn on or charge the cell phone is already well known. It does not tend to stay on my person, but is often buried in a knitting bag, or left in the car or in a coat pocket.

The ice persists today, though it is dark and gloomy so the fascinating light effects are no longer present.

The curse of the flat roof!

Worse, the building has a steep roof that overhangs part of the flat roof and all the water that runs off the steep roof just dumps onto the flat part.
