I dunno where the day went
Dec. 16th, 2007 10:07 pmWell, I do, partly. The usual stuff, cleaning barns, feeding animals, feeding ourselves. Gary spent a lot of it pushing a snow blower around but he rather likes doing that I think. I was printing a hundred copies of what amounts to our Christmas card. Those still have to be slit and bound and stuffed in envelopes, but not tonight.
And we did take time to watch The Polar Express which I think may have supplanted various versions of A Christmas Carol as my favorite holiday film. Anyway, bedtime. Need an early start tomorrow.

I sometimes have odd thoughts. Or maybe hallucinations:
Date: 2007-12-17 06:36 am (UTC)I first read that as "feeding our elves", which brought to mind an interesting image of you running an elf farm, perhaps for supplying Santa's workshop with new workers. And then the thought that maybe it was more profitable than a previous venture raising reindeer for him.
And then, of course, meditating on the historical aspect of the last great elf drives out west back in the late 1800s.
