Another W day

Too long, too busy, too humid.

A request on Flickr from some project that wants to use one of my photos. I have no idea if this is legit or some scammy thing. It sounds hokey.

Now it's time for bed. zzzzzzzzz...

Oh, I imagine it's a genuine request. But the spelling and grammar is bad and the web page to which it refers me looks like some sort of tabloid. I declined it. There are lots of free stock photos of sheep, no reason to use mine.

A project - nowpublic, by any chance? They seem to be legit, from all I can tell (well, I hope so, at least, since I've allowed them to use a couple of my pictures in the past c.c).

That's where it came from. The request was evidently made by someone who either didn't speak English well or else wasn't really very literate. And the reason for the request just didn't make sense. Supposedly it was to illustrate an item about genetic research on sheep. My particular photos have nothing to do with genetic research, they're just sheep. There are plenty of free stock photos of sheep, they don't need mine.

*noddles* Some people on that site apparently like to attach hundreds of photos to their stories, including everything that appears vaguely relevant (or even just related).
