Wednesday saved it all up and turned it loose today. Screaming kids, severe thunderstorms, hail, deluges. Saw them all before the day was out. At one point we had about 50 kids in the library who had just finished watching a presentation about dinosaurs when the severe weather hit. Even if they were willing to leave, no one had a cage large enough.

Rob is here from Chicago (the other half of Bear Creek Music) to stay with us for the night before he and Gary leave early tomorrow for a performance.

I'm wiped out. Not gonna get anything else done tonight.

Screaming kids were part of the weather? Isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse or something? :)

Screaming kids are part of school being out. Screaming kids trapped in the library and unable to go home, however, was part of the weather.

You were from the "Children should be seen and not heard" school of things weren't you ;) Unfortunately that is hardly the reality these days...or infact any time period in the past to be honest...unless they were all dying in the industrial revolution in GB.

Actually I'm of the "children should be neither seen nor heard" school of thought. Unfortunately, I work with a bunch of women who melt at the mere mention of infants and will look at a baby screaming at 100 decibels and say "Isn't that cute?"

Hehe :)

You'd have liked my coworker's baby, he was such a happy baby, curious and very well behaved.
