altivoToday's door count was 524. Door count for the last hour we were open was 92! Talk about a last minute rush. That or one of those noisy, hyperactive kids was standing in front of the counter beam jumping up and down.
In spite of dire predictions of rain, we got only about an eighth of an inch last night. Mosquitoes are down at least, but we are starting to need some rain.
Brit neighbors' chickens are loose and running all over the place scratching holes and such. Again.
Yellow summer squash are coming on with a vengeance, producing two or three new fruits a day.

Date: 2008-08-23 11:09 am (UTC)As for the chickens yes, and our dog Sarah would even catch them for us. On the other hoof, I've plucked and cleaned chickens before and I'm not that eager to do it again. It gives you lots of incentive to be a vegetarian. Yuck.
