Wednesday again

Afternoon meeting in Loves Park. Getting there is a pain from here. You either go 20 miles out of the way to use reasonably straight, well paved roads, or else you cross the middle of Boone County on country roads just barely wide enough for two cars to pass and none of which go all the way through to anywhere. Instead it's one mile west, half a mile north, two miles west, a quarter mile south, a mile west, two miles north, half a mile west... You get the picture. I keep trying to find an easy to remember, reasonably direct route. I may have gotten as close as possible today, and was even early for the meeting. Then had to go to work, which is a fairly direct route from there, but the total extra miles driven today was about 42.

Work was a zoo as well, with multiple meetings going on, a jammed parking lot, and a final door count of 931. Still trying to calm down enough to go to bed...
