First: Argos' shawl is nearly finished. It's seven feet long now. I plan to go another six or eight inches to allow for some shrinkage while fulling, and that will take only a half hour or so to weave. Then the fringes have to be tied and trimmed, the piece washed to full the yarn, and it's done. Probably all through this evening.

Second: I had a funny idea and couldn't resist it. I stumbled across a place that makes up military dog tags with any text you want (within the five lines of 15 characters each) for $7 a set. The two tags can be different. They come with the usual long chain and short chain, are stainless steel, embossed, and have rubber silencers just like the real thing. Well, if Argos is going to wear them, they'll be wolf tags, but OK. So I wrote some doggerel to go on the tags and ordered them.

For the long chain, with blue silencer to match Argos' eyes of course:

ARGOS WEAVER
FRIEND TO ALL
IF YOU FIND HIM
YOU CAN CALL
FENNEC REDTAIL

For the short chain, with red silencer:

FENNEC REDTAIL
HONEST CRITTER
ARGOS LOVES HIM
IS NOT BITTER
BUT STILL WAITS

If you've read the chapters of the book I posted at FurRag.com, this will make sense. XD

Glad to know. :)

Shawl is off the loom, fringes are tied on one end but I have to do the other end and wash it. Photo when done, I hope.
