So everyone wanted to see Argos in the fur and I was willing to comply. Here's a photo of him in the technical services area of the library. Everyone seems to want to pet his fur, so I hope it stands up to that.

I'd have done it for an hour or two, but I can't really get any work done that way. Can't see well enough. I could have stood at the front desk and checked books in and out, but if I had to explain anything I'd have been in trouble. All the fur muffles my voice too much and we have a lot of people who seem to be hard of hearing as it is.

I'm pleased with the effect though. The fur is delightful, well worth the premium price. I'll not be using cheap stuff again after the pleasure of working with this. And yes, it's very soft and touchable.

LOL. Believe me, I was tempted. The trouble is, while some library users would get a kick out of it, others would have a heart attack or go into apoplexy about "wasting taxpayer time and money."

I need to reinforce my long face. Knew that would probably happen, and this little test run proved it. A glue seam broke loose, fortunately one I can reach and repair. This time I'll stitch it with waxed thread and apply the glue over that.

Every fursuiting furry has to love Halloween. It gives you the perfect excuse to express yourself everywhere you go without anyone thinking twice about it.

Of course, I never have a costume or anything to wear for Halloween which is no fun :(

You're not a bad artist, though. (I'm quite serious about that, what little you've let me see.) Costuming isn't necessarily based on great expenditures of cash, but rather on imagination and resourcefulness, and an artist's eye. My coworker who took that photo haunts garage sales and builds amazing artistic ideas from "just junk".
