That about sums it up. I'm sure the city wasn't too happy either. They sent several fire trucks, and we all had to stand out in the cold wind for about a half hour.
Received too late to pass your greetings by name, but I hugged or greeted every equine I saw in a generic manner so you can consider yourself included. :)
Yes, on the whole it was a good time, except for sore paws (using wolf terminology here) from too much walking and standing. Oh, and the usual disappointments caused by scheduling. It really seems, for instance, that scheduling other panels or events at the same time as the parade or the variety show is really unfair to the panelists as well as their potential attendees. There seemed to be fewer panels this year, which was a bit of a disappointment.
I was staying at a Doubletree Hotel in San Antonio last year when the fire alarm went off shortly after midnight. When we stumbled out into the lobby we saw a waterfall falling from the 5th floor down into the lobby. No fire though. Turns out it was a teenager running through the hall with a baseball bat swinging at the ceiling fire sprinklers. But we still couldn't go back to bed until the fire department showed up to perform an inspection and shut off the water.
Be sure to get lots of pictures at MFF. I've never been to a furry convention.
I am terrible at carrying a camera around. However, there will be lots of photos showing up in the next week or two, and I'll be posting links to some of them. Usually there's footage on Youtube as well, of the fursuit parade and other events.
Steed and I posed for a session with the con photographer Dexcat, as well as shooting photos of one another. Those will all be posted in due time.
I heard that from loriana as well. I hope folks notified the hotel of that deficiency. It was loud and clear in our room, I assure you. Very obnoxious.
Oh, and thanks again for the cute plush pony. That was sweet of you, especially if you had to chase all over to catch me. I owe you all the hugs you can stand. ;D

Can you give hugs to all horsies from SoanoS Barcoded from Finland? :)
