Or something. It gave the charity, Rainbow Animal Assisted Therapy, a chance to ply the lined up crowd with cute dogs of all breeds and sizes, all immaculately behaved and friendly, wearing little vests with pockets into which one could tuck a dollar bill if so inclined. I suspect they got quite a few donations with this ploy. I gave in the next day and made one myself, over and above the amount I'd already given via other channels.
Or just resistant to being early? No idea. I've never attended the FVS in the past because it was just too late at night. At least this time I finally got to see it.
We actually had lighting and sound issues we needed to resolve prior to the show- as with all big productions, nothing goes on without a hitch or three.
In all honesty, there were a few acts I felt had way more technical issues than the AV crew had...
I was just glad to finally get to see one. This was my fifth MFF and the first time I've ever seen the show. I am diurnal, and staying up past midnight for these things is nigh impossible. XD
As the curate said of his egg, parts of it were quite good. And I loved Aeto's minotaur MC.
