Fursuit photo ID badges are here.

Yeah, he did a great job. All I gave him was the fursuit photo ID badge and the very brief description: "White wolf, a few dark hairs on his ears and top of his head, blue eyes, profession weaver, very domesticated." There's no substitute for talent, obviously, though a certain ability to visualize through a jaundiced eye probably helps a lot in that kind of work. ;p

Is Groat still around?

I'm suprised he didn't shoot you with .308 rounds.

XD

He's still around. He's been at every MFF I've been to, I think, though it looks as if someone else may be drawing "West Corner of the Park" now.

Oh, and why would he shoot me? We don't discuss politics of course.

Actually, I was wearing one of those badge ribbons that said "Foxes are guilty" and made some remark about it when [livejournal.com profile] jbadger showed up and handed him one. Something like "It doesn't matter what, the fox always did it," and Groat nodded and said "We hoofers know."

Jim does good caricatures. Give him a few hints and he's off and running.

Please, no more. It's only 6 am here and the sun isn't even up. ;p

You mean the dawn is loo-- *is carried off*

We have sun here today for once! Now if only I had a sun-facing windowsill for my poor solar-charged watch...

Those wrist sundials are a problem when you live in a sun-challenged part of the world.

That they are. My old office had a large windowsill that faced the afternoon sun perfectly, but here we're on the ground floor, most windows too high to reach and there are other buildings all around us.

I had the option to get a fairly expensive motion-wound watch (as a present), but opted for this instead. It updates itself from the radio clock in Rugby and saves me getting confused year after year by that wackiest of inventions, British Summer Time. Plus, it's digital, and less girly.

I've switched to a Chinese-made pocket watch that is wound the old-fashioned way, by turning a stem once a day. More reliable than most of the other wrist watches I've had in the last couple of decades, and it doesn't make my wrist itch.
