A Christmas message from Tess

No cookbooks this year, sorry. We didn't invent or make enough new things to have the recipes to print. However, this gives Tess a chance to send out a Christmas letter. After all, Archie and Asher did one a few years ago, and then the cat had a chance at it, and she's been waiting impatiently for her turn. You'll have to forgive her for the rather high opinion she has of herself. After all, she's a mare and it comes with the territory. HER territory, as she's bound to remind me.

Yep, high and mighty is something mares are particularly good at. It's funny how popular belief has it that the stallions are the bosses and protectors and all that, when people who actually work with horses will tell you that mares run the show and the stallions are more like oversexed teenagers.
