And more snow

It snowed for a good part of the day today. We probably got another three inches after dawn. Total snowfall for the last 36 hours is nine inches or more. At this rate, we could well break the all time record set last year.
It was a busy day here on the glacier.(Actually, yes, we are on a glacial moraine at least.) I had a guild meeting this morning while Gary ran the snowblower to reopen our paths between buildings and clear the driveway a bit. Another inch and a half to two inches has fallen since then, but the paths are sliced down through eight inches of packed snow. A week ago all our snow was melted and gone except for a few small patches in shady areas. Now it's back with the same force it had right before Christmas.
For those of you who can see the moon tonight, if it seems brighter that's because it is brighter. The moon is full and near it's closest point to the earth again, so it appears almost 15% larger and 30% brighter than usual. On snow at night it is brilliant and casts vivid shadows.
Tomorrow I have to warp the workshop loom for that overshot workshop Wednesday through Friday. That will be most of the day and probably Monday evening as well.
