So the weather service couldn't make up its mind. One minute, we were going to have rain, the next it was snow. They flip flopped several times. And of course we got both, which turned into a disgusting crunchy crust on everything and made the roads and walkways all slimy and slippery.

Forget stuffing the groundhog headfirst into a snowbank. I'm gonna make stew of him and feed my dogs.

Changable weather? LOL. We've put up with that for years!

The secret is to be ready for anything. I do hope the snow clears up soon though. It must be boring now.

Oh I could stand more snow if it was the fluffy white stuff that you can ski and sled on. It's this in-between crap that I detest. Especially the ice.

SOME say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Oddly enough this little program I have called Weather watcher gives me far more accurate weather reports than the local mobs O.O It's amazing, I'd say it's 80-90% accurate.

But where does it get its information? Here we have commercial weather forecasters, usually network television based like accuweather.com, or the "weather channel" on cable TV, and the federal government weather service which has been around for over a century and used to be pretty good about 20 years ago. I think they've been ruined by endless budget cutting until there are no experienced meteorologists left.

I think it's the weather channel, but it's surprisingly accurate, much more than the Australian Bureau of Meteorology.
