Ooo Tuna sandwiches *sits on your stomach and quietly eats the tuna sandwich* Hmmm *notices you lying seductively on the pillows* What's your deal then?
Tuna is a weak spot for me. If I go to sandwich places you can pretty much bank on me eating tuna salad. I guess there are worse things for you as long as it's not drenched in mayo. :)
Yeah, tuna itself is pretty healthy, though like most salt water fish it can push your sodium level so don't eat those salty fries or chips they serve with it. ;p Do, however, eat the lettuce and tomato they provide.
*debates whether the tuna might trap the lion too so he'd have both of you in his power... bwa ha ha!*
You actually hit on something that the lion and I were discussing last night or the night before when the news was discussing how much sodium some restaurants use.
When I had my blood work done some months ago most of the numbers came back on the extremely low side of 'normal'. With that in mind and the fact that we hardly use salt at all we really don't watch what our salt intake is from other sources.
*snickers* Hmmm, fish and feline...I bet it would trap a lion too. :P
Hear, hear. On one hand, it's good that Bill stopped before the comic jumped the shark - and it's certainly better than the alternative of having it do that, too -, but still, wouldn't it have been great if he had been able to carry on without doing so?
Absolutely. I like a pickle and a slice of tomato as well, but sourdough is top notch. The tuna is good but not essential in my case. A slice of good cheese is adequate if there are lettuce and tomato.
Another option to catch a Unicorn is to serve the tuna-salad on half of a toasted sourdough English Muffin, sprinkled with shredded cheddar and then broiled until the cheddar is all melty and gooey... :) Virgin serving-girl optional... ;)
They should just make some carefully crafted tuna-flavored chicken and put that in the tuna cans. It would probably be cheaper, and chickens aren't going extinct at the moment :P
If our resident fox has anything to say about it, chickens will be extirpated from the face of the earth (and she will become immensely fat in the process.)
In spite of this, I find myself greatly entertained when I discover a newly murdered chicken corpse in the woodlot, where she seems to drag them for later consumption. We do not interfere with her plans. Now if they were MY chickens, I might feel differently. But since they belong to the irresponsible neighbors, c'est la vie.
Heh... I agree, and I'll help. Maybe we can call it "Sage Advice from Coyote and Squirrel"
"Growing Up Evil"? "Mad Scribbles from the Garden"? "Squirrel Soup for the Soul"? Eh, something, snyway. A better (and pithy) title would no doubt make itself known once we actually started on it ;)
