My good friend Aerofox has been kinda blue in recent weeks, so I made a little gift art for him. Hoping that the return of spring will help him feel better soon, too. (Character copyright Aerofox, of course.) As usual, argos has the background and technical details here.

So much for the first day of spring. We have a couple of inches of wet snow on the ground, and after five days of pleasantly warm weather, it has been hovering around freezing all day. Not supposed to last, though, and it had better not.

Gary is making soup, and I'll make salad and biscuits to go with. Having spent the afternoon doodling, I suppose I ought to spin or weave now. He's doing homework as usual. ;p

Sorry to hear that your first day of spring came with snow. :-P It was 20 degrees above average warm and sunny here today, certainly nice enough to open all the windows and let the lair air out a bit. But the warmth's not going to last, and cold, rain and snow showers are on the way...

Thanks. The snow brought out all sorts of birds so it was an interesting day in spite of the weather.

We're still hovering in the 50's, but I'm sure it will drop to the 30's or lower so I'll get the windows secured before bed.

The picture was a thoughtful thing to do. Do you own the old radio (Zenith?) shown?

Nope, I don't own that radio but Aero does. It's a rare Zenith Stratosphere from 1936 and quite a spectacular piece of Art Deco design. It does sound good too. Imagine 25 tubes to receive AM radio. It ought to work really well (and need frequent repairs probably.)
