Stacking hay

Another load of hay. One more needed to be good through spring until next season.

Writing stalled again by the sequence of events. Never got a chance to sit down for even an hour.

Tomorrow, an odyssey to Ohio to visit foxen. Not driving, maybe I can write on the road? Ha.

There's nothing like a road trip to encourage writing: the whine of traffic, the distracting scenery, the changing patterns of light on the paper... good luck? ;o)

That's the way it has been all week. I imagined nice quiet days with Gary at school and nothing happening. Instead it's been hay deliveries, leaking drains, and so forth.

Well, I actually got down about 1800 good words on the trip back this morning. Otherwise, yeah, things were too frenzied all weekend but I pretty much expected that.

No, it was only a one-off prototype. The reviewers loved it though. In fact, it was in the best seller list for several centuries. ;p
