'Tivo and the too long day

altivoStarted at 5 am, hasn't ended yet. Up early to do rough finishing work on the green bag so it could be displayed at today's guild meeting. Successful.
Expected no breakfast since Gary was planning to go have blood drawn for some tests, but that was canceled so we had breakfast after all. Then the guild meeting, then work and a torrential rainfall just 30 minutes before closing. Fortunately it eased up some before I had to drive home.
Setting up new machines at work, I have to say I seriously detest Windows 7. It looks like a lot of cosmetic changes plus a serious attempt to make it more difficult to customize or alter core settings such as the IP protocol. Adding printer ports is tedious at best.
