Wednesday redeemed
Jun. 16th, 2010 10:31 pmNot the day itself, which was unusually hectic what with the farrier in the morning and then summer reading getting off with a roar this week, as well as the consortial library directors meeting at our site this afternoon. However, after 7 pm we were almost deserted. And when I got home, Gary had made a feast of Indian food: tandoori chicken, hummus, curried peppers, dal and red beans, with rice and wine. Lovely. Leftovers too.
This is a sudden new interest for him. He got into Thai for a while and got quite good at several dishes that we like. Now it looks like he's headed to India, and I won't object. I pointed out to him the fact that my vegetarian cookbooks have lots of Indian recipes, and have translated the ingredients into English so you know what to get.
Dentist in the morning, must cut this off short.
