Productive
Aug. 21st, 2010 10:24 pmI think that's what you call it. One wagonload of hay offloaded and stacked brings us to 230 bales so far this year. Wagon pushed out of the barn so it can be picked up easily, and floorboards cleaned (though this time I was going to leave them since they obviously had not been cleaned before winter set in last year.
Tess got out to the pasture and back. Sheep walked down their fence and got out, had to be put back in. Turned out the battery on their fence zapper was flat, so put that on the charger. Grocery shopping, check. Bank deposit check. Barns cleaned check. Gary finally started on a restoration job for an antique spinning wheel that we had promised a year ago. This necessitated a hardware run, so we went to Culver's, Menard's, and W*mart where we got supper, square nuts for a 5/16" coarse thread carriage bolt, walnut colored wood putty, and a big load of pet food and supplies. Hopefully all this will make tomorrow feel a lot less busy.
Oh yeah, also we baked bread today and saw what appeared to be a professionally run fireworks display off in the direction of Sun City as we were driving back from supper and the second shopping trip.
Maybe I can weave tomorrow...
