As we could expect, Robert is an excellent navigator. By the time Ricky has once more dealt with his rebellious younger brother, and informed Eleanor and her ladies of their imminent arrival at Portchester, followed by a discursion into the grimmer side of Omar's verses, the Cormorant comes within sight of the castle and all go out on the deck to watch the landing.
Watch out for some acid commentary from the horses in the next installment. ;p
Obvious reason for reduced progress today, of course, is the holiday. It went well. All the food was successful if not consumed. We have massive leftovers even after giving quantities away. Of course, we also have ways of dealing with those, so that's fine.
I'll post this segment tonight, though it may have some uncorrected slips in it. Then I'm going to bed where it's warm. The outdoor temperature is below 20F for the first time this season.
