Ughh brrrr!

Trying to warm the house back up before going to bed. We went down to Elgin for dinner with friends and got back about 9:30 to a very chilly house because the stove had burned down to ash and the thermostat is set low to save on electricity. Outdoor temperature is +3F, indoor now up to 66F and rising slowly. Hope this is the last bitter cold night for a while.

Spent money, about half of it was gift cards from Christmas, on clothes and kitchen stuff. Now that's taken care of so we don't forget to use the cards.

Doesn't feel much like a weekend, it's too busy. Hope tomorrow will be warmer and more restful.

It's -20°C, in the -30's with the windchill, going down to -40°C (windchill) overnight. But the sun is shining, blazing through my bay window, heating my livingroom and kitchen, +15°C.

Finally starting to warm up here. I have a lot of respect and even fondness for Canada, but you guys can keep your "arctic air" and use it for something up there. I don't need it. ;p
