Home made pizza

About ten days ago a discussion of pizza on Twitter resulted in a promise from me to post a photo of the next pizza I made, so here it is. Home made whole wheat crust, four cheeses, home made Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, sesame. It was good too. (Still is, we only ate half so far.)

Temperature is going up. It was down to 15F at sunset, is now at 17F. Expected to rise all night on a south wind which probably means freezing fog in the morning and then freezing rain if it gets warm enough.

I think I had too much wine last night. Though I wasn't exactly hung over this morning, I felt groggy and sleepy all day. Early bed tonight I think.

That looks delicious. I could do without the sausage, personally, but it's beautifully done. Bonus points for presentation.

Thanks. The sausage is a concession to Gary's preferences. There isn't a lot and for myself alone I'd omit it as well. I might add more veggies. Thin slices of zucchini are particularly nice.

As you well know, I'm a committed carnivore, but when it comes to pizza I just don't like meat on it really. Ham, bacon, and ground beef I can deal with, but they aren't choice toppings for me.

My choice would be to lose the 'shrooms but that's just me.

And I'd rather lose the sausage and double the mushrooms. Probably add more veggies as well, like sliced zucchini and sliced black olives.
