Raindrizzlesleetsnow
Feb. 27th, 2011 07:43 pmWhee! So much for winter being over with. Heavy rain turning to freezing rain, then sleet, then snow. Up to five inches of accumulation, they say, all by rush hour tomorrow morning. Forget ground hogs, that must be March coming in like a lion, just a day early.
Not much weaving today due to other chores, cooking, etc. Sunday is usually baking day and we were making bread, pie, and a dinner with leftovers to provide another meal during the week.
Going to try for an early night. Neither of us slept well last night, so maybe we can make it up.

Date: 2011-02-28 03:50 pm (UTC)Oh, and I should add the fact that all that supposed precipitation for last night did not materialize. We had enough ice to require scraping car windshields this morning, but the roads were fine. No snow, no heavy rain even though they've been warning us about the heavy rain for days. We're back to the usual "crying wolf" every couple of days, it seems.

Date: 2011-02-28 03:53 pm (UTC)The 403's on FR were some sort of server problem. Alex had already notified the hosting site before I was up this morning and it seems to be fixed now.
