Or so it seems. More tonight, more tomorrow, then snow. What?
Of course I shouldn't complain. I see Duluth has had blizzard warnings for a couple of days now.
Came home to find that Gary had been baking fruitcakes. I wondered if he hadn't slipped a cog or turned over the wrong calendar page. Something about giving some to friends who are already leaving for their summer cottage in the upper penninsula of Michigan this weekend. I wonder if I get any?
Boss had another network consultant in to quote her on setting up wi-fi and so forth. This one seemed to want to go wild with replacing everything in sight because "it's all old." If she goes for it, she'll be spending like a corporate IT department that replaces everything every three years whether it needs it or not. I guess this should be expected since I told her I don't want to support Windows environments and she doesn't like having UNIX/Linux around. So, it's on her head. But when it goes wrong, I'm not fixing it. And she's not forcing me to use Windows on my desktop, either. For more than five years now I've done without Microsoft and no one has been harmed in the process.
