Almost didn't get this in before midnight. ;p

We've been gluing wooden t-trak modules together all day. They're covering all the available surfaces in the kitchen, drying. Then they have to be sanded and painted with a gray base coat (mostly to keep the thin plywood from warping due to humidity changes, I'm hoping.)

Now I need to dig out the polymer clay and see just how well I can do at modeling teeny-tiny furry characters. We want foxes in a canoe, a wolf fishing, a bear using an outhouse, and various others. Can I make them recognizable at just a half inch high? I'm fairly confident. Let's see...

This is so you can put a layout together quickly, kind of like a modular house? That's a pretty cool idea.

I'd have to populate a layout with bigger critters -- moose, bear, elephant, apatosaurus... they'd be a little taller than a half-inch. (I have problems with mandolin, too... big fingers, see). I'm just goofing, of course. Looking forward to photos when it's all done.
