Is it Friday yet?

For a Saturday this felt remarkably like a work day. No, I wasn't at work, at least not where I get paid for it. The day was so full though, and I still didn't get everything done I wanted to do. Thank goodness this weekend has an extra day.

Actually, though, for a 13th of the month, it wasn't all that bad. Busy but not unpleasant. I'm just beat is all.

Gary was giving a workshop at U of Chicago Folkfest, so he was gone all day. I had a guild meeting, plus the chores to do at home. Now I have to remember where I put his Valentines for tomorrow and then stumble to bed.

Heh. He gave me a beautiful potted cyclamen with huge red blossoms and a teddy bear with a "HUGS" sweatshirt on. I got him a big floppy husky pup about the size of a pillow (Huskies are the school mascot where he's taking graduate classes) and we'll probably go out for dinner tonight or tomorrow.
