INFP? That was what I scored in 2002 on the Myer's-Briggs test. I just retook it, and now I'm an INTJ. That's the same as the quiz just scored me - I haven't read the books, but isn't Severus Snape a bad guy? OH NO! LOL!
That's an interesting change for me, because that means my intuition has gone from being my private life to being my public life, my private life is no longer swamped by feelings and emotions, and I'm using thinking more for my private life instead. That's not better in some intrinsic place, but this is working better for me and staying sober and stuff. Best wishes to you!
That's really interesting because I used to score as INTJ but in recent years I have tended more to come up as INFP. It might be partly due to the influence of my life-mate, after 22 years, since he is very solidly in the INFP corner while I was always borderline.
Severus Snape isn't a bad guy, by the way. He seems so at first, and the younger characters in the books tend to think of him that way, but we gradually learn more about him and realize that he is not at all evil but rather that he has a different viewing angle and is actually striving for much the same ultimate goal as the rest.
Remus Lupin is [ta-da] a werewolf. He is also a good guy who is often rejected by the mainstream of his society, just as Snape has been. In order to maintain his position on the faculty, he is in part dependent on the assistance of Snape. So you see, everything is tied together, and we all need each other's talents. (Which, if I remember correctly from 25 years ago, was the point of Meyers-Briggs.)
