We got at least six inches overnight, perhaps as much as eight. It was hard to tell because it was melting and there was rain falling on top of it at dawn. When the rain stopped, there was about six inches of wet slush on the ground. Very sloppy.

Late this afternoon, it started to snow again. A half inch so far, I'd estimate, though the temperature is right at freezing and not going much lower they say. Whether we'll be able to get out in the morning is hard to say. No using a snow blower with this slop, but Gary did shovel the stuff out of the end of the drive, where the snow plows push it in.

I'm set to make dinner and that's it. Maybe some weaving will get done.

Just add some flavouring and it's slush puppies alround :D

Slush puppy was the big name in "squishees" here awhile ago and the logo can still be seen about.

Slush Puppy remains the big name in slushies around here, and is locally nationally associated with 'going to the movies', moreso than popcorn ever was.

I've run a snow blower through slop like that before. You're lucky to get it to move a couple of feet, which is enough for a sidewalk, but little else. When I did it, the sidewalks were enough and my truck had little problem with the driveway, although we probably didn't have as much as you do.

On our flip side, last night we had the hottest most humid night here I've personally experienced in years. Darn that global warming.

Nothing like a few inches of snow and some
subzero temps to make a man want...

To go to the beach!

*strips down to his undies and runs in the river*
